Internet Marketing is the new Video Game
I know I know, this is a completely different market and definitely not a market for kids…but it’s our generation watched the video industry be born and grow. Now we are at the age to see behind the scenes.
What I’m getting at here is when video games first hit the market, it was unlike anything we have ever seen. People rioted. People wait in tents outside of major electronics stores just to get their hands on the first edition of a game or system. Developers realized the market in this and it exploded with many amazing games as well as even more terrible games. Ever remember Taboo: The Sixth Sense? Didn’t think so.
Internet Marketing is much of the same. It boomed back in the early 2000′s and many people made a ton of money but also lost in long run. You see internet marketing is an ever evolving market, just as are video games. You can’t release Crash Bandicoot from PSone today with the same technology, graphics, controls, etc.
Things have to change. This is exactly how internet marketing is. What worked and made money years ago would unfortunately cause you to go bankrupt and forfeit anything dealing with a computer.
Don’t get me wrong internet marketing is not for everyone, just like how video games aren’t for everyone (girls, preppy boys, popular kids…) but if given the right tools and methods of execution…
It’s ANYONES Game
…no pun intended.
